I have been with this company for more than 10 years for a small law office, and although the phone system generally works well, the tech support is very poor. As long as no problems occur, you should be fine. But as soon as anything goes wrong, and, unfortunately, sometimes that happens, I regret having used this company. Reluctantly, I am switching now to another company and cannot recommend Megapath.
I interact with Christy through the Master Agent I work for (Intelisys)..Every interaction has been very professional and the speed in which Christy Hogarty provides quotes is absolutely unmatched.
The MegaPath team was exceptional through every step of the installation process and continue to provide superior customer support and service. I would highly recommend MegaPath to anyone considering a Unified Communications Solution
I would recommend any business owner or personal individual to stay as far away from this company as possible. Terrible customer service, even worse follow through. I signed a contract back in November of 2016 and it is now July of 2017, they just now informed me that they are unable to install internet at our location which only took 8 months for them to finally come to this conclusion. I was in constant communication with Megapath which they lead us on for eight months to believe would be completed but instead came up with every excuse imaginable being the reason for their delay….and it never even happened. To add to it, which should have been the first sign not to do business with them, when signing the contract there was no installation charge and then after signing the contract Megapath snuck in a construction fee of $1,300 unless we agreed to sign with them for an increased amount of time. Horrible business model and is truly unbelievable this place still is in business. They deserve to be reported to the Better Business Bureau.
Mango Voice has worked with my company Classroom Smart Technologies on numerous projects. Megapath as an IP Phone provider offers a superior product in comparison to their competitors. They’re is easy to work with and they have a quick turnaround on any installation.
An e-mail notification for voicemail is a wonderful feature when I’m not in the office. I am always in the know when I have a voice mail on the go through the e-mail on my cell phone. Sound quality is always crispy clear! 10! That is a rating that you deserve for providing an excellent phone service… a 10 out of 10!
Company only offers no contract if you have 5 or more lines. Total waste of my time.
MegaPath services are better, by far, than those of our previous providers, and a great fit for our business needs in terms of quality and reliability. The MegaPath people we work with have been great. They are responsive, friendly, and helpful.

Be very careful when signing up. There are hidden costs, which were substantial in my case. Before you give them your credit card, make sure you know exactly how much they are charging upfront, and each month. It will change from what you actually see the “quote.” Also, expect to start paying before you actually use the service.
Good pricing, service works well. The ability to have my phone at home ring as if it were just another extension in the office is nice and the help you can get setting things up is also a plus.
Pricing is attractive as well and the whole system makes life simpler for IT in general.

MegaPath was founded in 1996, but it didn’t launch its Unified Communications service until 2014. In the years between, it built up its infrastructure as it acquired Phoenix Networks, Epoch Networks, TManage, and IP5280. In 2015, it sold off many of its other business interests to focus exclusively on hosted UC and managed security.
MegaPath offers one of the best values in no-contract hosted VoIP by offering free phone rentals, company-wide minute sharing plans, metered local plans, and other ways to tailor the plan as small or as large as an organization needs. They also frequently have promotions and temporary price reductions to bring in new customers.

Editor’s Bottom Line of MegaPath
MegaPath has spent a number of years behind the scenes, offering managed security, broadband Ethernet, and other cloud-based services. It is only recently that they have decided to focus on their hosted VoIP offerings. Although they have a carrier-grade network, they’ve yet to reach enough market penetration to achieve “critical mass.”
As a result, they have to set themselves apart the old fashioned way: Lower the price. MegaPath offers shared metered pricing, meaning the whole business can use a bucket of minutes each month. In addition, they offer included phone rentals on no-contract plans. MegaPath offers a White Glove installation service, where they can guide you through the installation over the phone, or even have a certified technician install it for you on-site.
